Hurt Fingers, Strummed Guitars!

What makes a guitar so special? Is it the cool strings that are so neatly ordered on the neck? Or possibly the shiny knobs that you can twist and turn? With the many things you can use wood and metal strings for, I wonder how the guitar was created.

I have recently started to play my ole Fender guitar once more. It has suffered a long silence in it's guitar case, as I have busily shoved it aside. As I picked it back up again I wondered why I had stopped playing this beautiful piece instrument. While walking around our house playing old songs that I have stored in my memory, I feel excited too have it in my hands once more. After strumming for some time I unfortunately realize the negative effects of not playing it for so long. The poor tips of my fingers are not happy that I enjoy pinching down on thin metal wires, which lead to the title of this post. All in all I hope to keep strumming this instrument for many more days to come.
